Methanol
I bought some methanol in a iron drum its 2ehand but if i poor it in a plastoc drum then i can see that its a bit rusty in the drum any i idee how i can filter this there are no flakes in it but its datk of colour.
can i just juse a towel or something like that.

Ok but its a drum thats 1/3 full and i have one thats 180l didnt take any thing out of this one but i think its the same cant i sieve this?

Dont risk running your car on something thats not 100% mate not worth the hassle as said its cheap enough i wont put meth in mine after a few months let alone when its gone brown bud

That's how much good quality race methanol costs. Usually circa £75 for 19L.
Cheap commercial grade methanol is a fraction of the cost, but you'd be a lot better running proper stuff. Better yet just use race fuel if an extra few Bhp is so important.
Methanol is horrible stuff, I certainly wouldn't be using some old stuff thats in an old rusty drum. Sod that!
