It's clear that diesel is not a fuel which can be used to give ultra low emissions and have reasonable performance. The official emission testing is woefully inaccurate and should be scrapped. Only driving a vehicle on a road to build up an emission log can truly give a representative pollution level

It's all changing, thanks to manufacturers like VW, Merc, BMW falsifying figures (all manufacturers were at it) there is now what's called WLTP coming. Loads on the internet about it.
Serves them all right, something had to be done, shot themselves in the foot I say.
