Does the standard UK MY00 Scooby have heated wing mirrors?
My 3 day old car seemed to take a longish time to clear the wing mirrors this morning.
cheers,
Greg

Not according to the brochure but they would be a useful addition. Does anyone know if they can be added, a mate had it done on his BMW.

Paul,
The manual says it is an option, so somewhere in the world Scoobies have them!

The manual seems to indicate that if a little light comes on when you push the heated rear window button, then you have heated mirrors. This does not appear to be true (I have light but no heated mirrors)

No they don't. I had them on my Renault 19 16 valve some years back and by Jove you can tell the difference.

Until then, if you put Rain-X on the mirrors it does help removing icy stuff in the mornings.

The Forester Turbo has them, and they are the Same Mirrors, I suggest you ring you dealer for replacement mirror Glass and Wiring. Let us know How much cos it is worth doing, Meanwhile Rain X does the job in most cases

No, they definitely don't have them (I have a MY00). Someone said some time back that your local Subaru dealer will fit them for about £280.
