Talking Greetings

Hello all. New here.

Have owned a 2006 STi Spec D for two weeks.

She needs a service, and is missing some power after 5k rpm - so it's compression test time next week.

Anyway, thought I would say hello. Great looking forum.

Doc

Where you taking the car for the compression test? There's East Kent Subaru if you aren't going there already

I know East Kent Subaru - but I'm going to Hidden Performance in Sandwich. Website here: http://www.hiddenperformance.co.uk/contato-1

They're doing two dyno runs tomorrow: one pre-, and one post-service and test.

I'll post the results because I'm not all talk and no trousers.

Compression test will tell you less than a leakdown test. Try to get one of those done
