Default ECUs - SIMTEK

Hi all,

as above really, has anybody had any experience with the ‘new’ simtek ECUs?

My build is nearing completion and I am weighing up my options. Also any nods for mappers would be good.

I have two two in mind so far -
Andy Carr / Syvecs/Link
Jase @ Area 52 / Simtek

Still awaiting more info/prices from both.

Open to ideas, Motec etc..... ?

Simtek excellent ecu for a road car plus more. Good support from Steve Simpson. All the ecu's available now are good no such thing as a bad one just some are better than others. More bells and whistles on some that 99% of people will never use.

Jase can map all of those mate, maps my drag car on syvecs and has mapped various other stuff for me. Steve is often there mapping too. Jase can supply fit and map simtek.

Had a SIMTEK on my old type R which was fitted and mapped by Andy Forrest.

Great ECU with switchable maps and anti-lag.

I have the Simtek Mk.2. Fitted by Simon Roe (RIP) in around 2012.

Not had one issue with it.*
