Default wheel colour for wr blue sti forester

hi, im thinking of a wheel refurb, pre facelift forester sti in wr blue, it has prodrive monoblock gc010e 18" wheels that are currently in a pale gold colour which looks nice, but never really been too sure on the whole gold wheels thing.
However i really like the look of the wheels, but there is some kerbing and bubbling.
So ive been pondering on a refurb with possibly a colour change.
any suggestions?
nothing too loud please.
i like subtle.

I'm thinking of re-furbing mine in bronze.

Those wheels you have are really nice, just Google imaged them.

Silver or Subaru Enkei Gold - L920 for me :

yeah ive been pondering on anthracite/ gumetal or even black, it is tricky, i do think a colour change is the way forward as i just don't feel i like the gold enough.
jazzy are those wheels 19"?
trooper... i also like the oe wheels but the prodrives i have i also like aswell. the oe wheels are rare to find too.

gunmetal/anthracite is probably best for me. trouble is there are so many different shades/finishes. any examples would be gratefully appriciated.

Gold is more of an impreza colour of a certain age rather than a fsti colour if that makes sense , on my impreza i changed my gold ones to black they look a lot better , the photo as above black looks much better than the gold , it is still obviously a personal choice , the benefit if it’s black you can do it yourself and you don’t need to mask the tyres , ive done my mini fleet of cars in black and they look more aggressive and suit the car a lot better , just my opinion , oh on a plus if they are kerbed it’s an easy touch up at home

I'll be doing my standard FSTI alloys (my winter wheels) in bronze soon. Will post pics up when I finally get my **** in gear and do it.

I love bronze personally. Mine has looked like this for 2 years now.

maybe i could refurbish the prodrives in the oe sti silver colour? anyone know the paint code for them?
or is anyone looking to offload their oe wheels, although im reluctant to part with the prodrives as im led to believe these are a factory upgrade alloy and possibly lighter than oe. also pretty damn rare.

I think the standard FSTI wheels are some of the nicest OEM wheels Subaru ever made. They look lovely. I might see what mine look like in bronze and then black on the car.

i agree, what do you think of my wheels sprayed in the silver oem wheel colour?
i think it may suit the car?
the oems stand out out nice, maybe silver is the way to go.:norty dont really want the expense of changing wheels.
