Default Where to get new power steering pump?

Hi,

My power steering pump is whining with intermittent heavy steering.
I have tried new fluid and it's still the same. I've just ordered a new o ring to see if that will sort it.
Worst case I'm looking at new pumps- 😭
Subaru UK don't have them, my local motor factor can't get, and no luck with ICP...
Car is a 2.0l, hawkeye wagon, non turbo, 2006 plate. Has anyone bought one recently if so please can you tell me where you bought from...

Thanks

Try Matty B in authorised traders under MBDevelopment. Used a number of times is easy to deal with and very helpful.

Check your steering uj joint it connects the column to the rack.
They sometimes go in the way that uj Joint will not have any free movement any more.
Steering will go hard as if the pas is defect and sometimes gets noisy

and if not use Matty as suggested

You can also get the refurbished for £120-£150.
This place advertises a refurb service (I haven't used them yet).

But as above check the o ring on the top of the pump, then check the clips and hoses aren't letting in air. It may only take a couple of pounds worth of parts to sort it.

Best buying from UK supplier. As once you paid all extras will cost same. Plus if there's a fault with it.
