Mate turbo hasn't done more than 3000 miles so how is it Unknown mileage Plus turbo was checked fully before it was fitted on my car by enginetuner and its still on the car if I decided to sale it then before I take it out I will let the buyer see it before I take it out of the car.

1 example is a friend of mine who has a subaru. Over 700 bhp on a gt35r. He is running about 15% more than the said flow. Built as you said from ground up. Race fuel. He is happy to spin the turbo past its rpm to flow rate. Also happy to replace the turbo every 10k miles. I, myself would expect a turbo to last 60-100k miles
Has anyone done this with an SC46 on a 2.0 ?

Cams and gucci headwork ?

i have an SC42 which got re-machined by owen developments with bigger billet wheel, bearing uogrades etc. and according to AFP road dyno is 427 v-power 1.5bar
466 20% Ethanol 1.7bar
on my un-opened 67k mile 2.0 sti

I found the 427bhp to be out be 7% on local dyno

yet to run Ethanol setup

Would like to see what i could achieve from my turbo if i built everything around it.

When i was 1st told about this precision turbo, i was told its a 500bhp turbo on stock block. I was going to buy 1 until i read the spec of the turbo. I still really like the precision but i feel there is better out there especially for the price

All this is without prejudice. Its a capable turbo. Also, knowing some background changes from precision a few years ago bought them well upto speed against garrett turbos.

I dont know the specs or if other tuners sell a better set of cams, but i do know mark from lateral sells some cam's for high power cars, and make 30 bhp on a 600+ build vs standard cams. Im sure nez and myself spoke about this before. You arent guaranteed yo make 30 just an example

how can you take the previous owners claim of less than 3000 miles when he also told you he got it from Roger Clarke and lost the invoice?

Now that would be a massive ask, you were told wrong. Just over 450 on a stock block would be adequate but then your at the limits of said stock block, assuming it's a ej207

Just meant 450 is the sweet spot, loads have ran more that's just at your choice of not caring or being prepared if or it does go.
What I meant also is, if running a smallish turbo to go over it's recommend figure, it's going to need a bit of help some way or another.
