Default Track day exhausts??

What track day exhaust are people running on high powered cars? 450bhp+

I am in need of one for my Subaru classic but unsure which one will guarantee me to pass the db limits

Also interested in this as my current Cobra is way too loud, even though the centre is resonated. Did think about adding a centre box 1st before changing system but I have the feeling that its the size of backbox (not much bigger than the exit) that is generating the noise.

The shortlist I made when looking into this were

Jetex/revolution
Cobra track friendly
Miltek
HKS Hi Power silent

Price wise I feel I'd be trawling the 2nd hand market as I cant do £500 on a new cat back, even if I was to get £200ish back on my current Cobra. Only concerns with the Miltek are that its 2.75", not 3" and I'm not sure on the effects at 420bhp.

What would make the most difference adding a bigger middle silencer or having a bigger back box??

Just curious because maybe to save me some money I can just have a bigger silencer fitted in the mid pipe

The jetex/revolution system doesn’t have a centre box just the back box. I had the cobra track day friendly system before this and this isn’t any louder. Revolution do them for less than 400 for the cat back

Milltek do 2 versions, one 2.75" and they also do a full 3" system.

Get a newage downpipe and then a newage cat back from rr because I don't think they sell a gc8 Pacific one. But you can phone and ask.

I have a newage downpipe on my gc8 and a miltek back box, I just had a custom centre with no res made, all full true 3" and did 86bd at 4K revs
