Default Which oil?

Hi all,

Just wondering what oil would be best to use, the car is a 350hp 2005 Subaru STi Type 25 (blobeye). Car isn't tracked just used for daily driving and the odd spirited drive.

Going through the history it looks like 10w/40 semi Synthetic has been used by Surrey Subaru Specialists so I guess this would be ideal? I've heard that 10w/60 is also an option?

Also which brand to go for? I noticed Millers Oil have different variants such as Nanodrive EE and Trident?

What spark plugs should be fitted?

Best Regards,

Subaru Collector 555.

Millers CFS 10w60 fully synthetic competition oil would go well in that I should think. Very good quality oil that is.
Been using it in my forged Hawk Spec D (342 horses) with no problems. Lasts the test of time too. Good stuff.

What's wrong with 10w/60? BTW the car is forged.

Best regards,

Subaru Collector 555.

Its too thick, if you need that for a forged build then there is a problem. 5w40 for anything upto 350ish bhp, 10w50 for a bigger power build.
