Default V3-V4 newage coilpack conversion loom

Hi, I'm thinking of converting my classic V3-V4 single coilpack to newage coilpacks but where can I get the loom from because I don't want to start chopping wires I just want to plug and play. Cheers

Why you still on original coil packs? If you need a set I will keep a lookout for you.

V1/2 is easy as you just need 4x adapter leads. V3/4 and V5/6 need a more involved loom to pick up on the original coil pack plug.

V1/2 and V3/4 conversions need some jiggery-pokery with the wiring down at the ignition amplifier on the inner wing.

V5/6 can suffer from earthing issues once converted.

All our kits and plug-and-play with full details on how to complete the conversion, and work around the earthing problem if it presents itself.

Right so your looking to convert your single, central coil pack, to one with coil packs on each lead.

Is there really much benefit Rich? Can't imagine it would be an easy job. Unless you can buy a pre'made loom. Do AS make them.

Yes AS make the loom. My mapper recommended them, I should’ve done this conversion a long time ago.

From JTI website:

These loom allows the coilpacks on a Subaru Impreza to be replaced with those from an MY01-onward (“newage” or “hatch”) vehicle to get improved spark performance, especially beneficial with higher power engine builds.

Earthing problem?
What’s the signs there’s an earthing issue?
