Deposit is down, I didn't pay asking.
It is incredibly clean and clearly been looked after to a high standard. Whatever I brought in I would have spent a decent amount of money refurbishing and replacing to freshen the car up. This car has some every decent kit that can be taken off and sold to leave me with some cash after replacing for new standard parts. That's how I'm justifying it anyways, the missus doesn't seem to agree haha.

Car was aparantly owned by MD developments I don't suppose anyone knows the car?
I remember seeing this on PH for sale a few years ago, same photos.

There were several of these registered as 10 plate cars, Juggers did them, think they were all due to be converted to rally cars but ended up not being used, all 07 model cars, just unregistered (imported by Prodrive? Been a while since i saw that tread). Not worth 20k so I really hope you didnt pay anywhere near that as its still an 07 model and needs to be serviced as such.

For the extra money that people add to the value for a Spec C, its not worth the asking price, one there one autotrader wanting 21k for a hawk 07 plate with 50k miles worth 15k max on a good day and they are cheaper to buy than a standard STI.
That was my brother in laws car that Ian imported for him, think he sold it to the guy from Orkney and bought a Cayman S. Only had about 2k miles when he sold it.

Never forgave him!

Think it ended up being bought by a couple of Russians for driving round the ring....

Got to be the perfect time to invest in any Spec C, prices are reasonable and on the rise.
Loving my 05` Spec C WRC Ltd, best Subaru I've owned having owned 5 classics.
Having a shakedown around Donnington next week, I promised myself I would use it and not just mothball it like my old cars.

Just bought a Spec C WR from Japan, hopefully on its way shortly and I can't wait. I think prices are on the rise and quite rightly so for the rarer cars. Just deciding whether I can keep my classic V2 RA as well.

I wouldn’t have an Evo 9 GT over my RA, as it’s not ‘special’ enough - only an MR 360 would tempt me.... HKS edition 360 in red for me please!!
I've had both, a mint 9GT with Autronics ECU mapped to 400/400 and lightly mapped Hawkeye Spec-C. The Evo was a bit quicker but boring as hell on the road, a major let down. The Spec-c was so much fun, the chassis was more playable and had bags of character..

They seem to be worth more now than when I sold it..

Are the RA-R's really going for this sort of money, I know it's nice but is this madness or a sign that only 300 made will keep pushing prices up..

Lovely car, but are they really that heavy? 120kg heavier than a blob Spec C.

That's the key question, advertised prices are increasing but do the cars actually change hands?
