hey

so today driving along and started to loose gear and was not wanting to move lucky i came to a stop and got recovered..

so noticed there was a trail of red fluid only and looked underneath and its auto trans fluid, checked the transmission fluid and it is now empty sadly. .
engine oil,coolant and front and rear diff fluids all good.

so have not been able to get under the car yet for inspection but any ideas on what it could be, will be starting to inspect tomorrow. I am hoping it may just be a pipe has split etc...

hopefully i can spot it quickly but if now if there any knowing faults to look for

I’d be looking to see if the atf cooler has split or hoses burst going to it.

As above, cooler pipe or the spin on oil filter for the auto trans corroded and leaking

pipe popped off leading to the cooler..

new clamp on new atf fluid and good as gold
