Default Uprated 6 speed clutch

Clutches, talk to me, 6 speed box on a newage. I'm looking for something that can take more than an exedy pink, but is is still drive-able in traffic and not going to give me a leg work out on my commute to work . Is a lightened flywheel necessary and if so how light? Thank you in advance

I ran a competition clutch on my last blobeye running 440/440 and was fine, drove like a std clutch and held the power without issue.
I got mine from darrell @ scoobyworx.

I had the flywheel/clutch combo from him and I highly recommend it.

Competition clutch here too, 460/430 and has head room for more power. I too got the package from scoobyworx with the lightweight flywheel. Not a lot of difference to a standard clutch. Can't fault it really

What competition clutches were you running? I had a triple plate in my bug and it gave up the ghost.

Default CC

I've had two CC stage 2 clutches on a 2.5 and 2.35.
Highly recommended as oem feel and use.
The CC lightened fly is a bit too light imo with very occasional stalling in traffic. On the go it's great.

I've had an helix clutch on mine for three years now, can't fault it. It's done run what you brungs, track days and suffered loads of abuse.
It replaced a exceedy pink box that was disappointing to say the least.

sorry for late reply as not often on the net due to (heavy) workloads..........

we use & supply Exedy, ACT, Extreme, Sachs, Helix, AP Racing, etc. and can supply CC if there is a specific requirement
