Walbro fuel pump no noise on ignition but noise on start up?
Thought they make a noise when ignition is on as well as the car started?
Switch my ignition on and it's silent but start the car and makes noise.

My Walbro is very loud, but then again i have no sound deadening.
In answer to your question i don't really know, but an educated guess would say why would the pump need to be pumping when the engine isnt combusting?
