Default Trying to find parts and really struggling

I have been offered a car which needs a front bumper and bonnet after an accident. Its well within my ability to fix it as it is a cat D.
Keep drawing blanks for the usual places I hunt (ebay and gumtree).

Could anyone please point me in the right direction to get a used bumper and bonnet?

Car is a 2008 WRX hatch

^^^^^ LOL Yes I did have them shut

Thanks for the links.

I tried to keep the post short. Rather than have a novel as a 1st post.

Talked to Scooby parts and the othe main advertiser in the classifieds section. Nada from either

Looking for 2nd hand bumper as I then get all the bits in it I will be buying the car 3rd hand so god knows whats missing to quote Scooby parts its the 'Small bits that really push up the cost'.

All that I have rung so far have nothing.

Tried the 2 main ones in the classifieds section. About 8 in and around Bristol. Some that come up in google search as scooby breakers

Now on to the National ones.

Trying to find a whole bumper as that has all the grills and hopefully the headlamp washers etc

The ones I have found have been front end shunts so the Bumpers are Foobar.

Just looked.....Comments added in orange. Bear in mind my knowledge of Subaru's boils down to about 3 hours over the last week.

^Ouch £300 quid plus it needs painting. Wanders off to find British supplier. Anyone know a good one? :-)

^ Good Find Did not spot that one. Will ring them tomorrow

^ Am I correct in thinking that is an STI one. If so is it is wider than the WRX and the fittings are all different. Please correct me if I am wrong. Will ring them to see if they have my one to reg/chassis tomorrow.

4/5/6th characters "VAF" = 2.5L wrx sti
10th character "F"= MY2016

Car is a 2008 WRX hatch. I think any bumper from 2008 to 2010 will fit. Apart from the STI one.

Please correct if I am wrong.

Different tangent now. Need to find out part numbers for the bumper and its components for the year of car I have. e.g. headlight washer.

Is there a UK electronic parts catalogue? If so could someone point me in the right direction

TIA

Subaru has various ways of identifying it's models

G12 is the model code (narrow body Impreza) G22 - wide body Impreza

GHE is the model number for the 2.5L WRX

GH2, 3 and 7 are for the lesser engined variants.
