Really nice. But very expensive. The S402/WR legacy is also rare, but a really good car. There is also a "tuned by sti" leggy, and the late model twin turbo blitzen spec cars which come up occasionally and I think are really good value.

I've seen the tuned by sti model but prefer the wr limited version.
my wr limited has a few sti parts underneath strangely. Suspension arms etc.

My 2006 blitzen (basically a gt spec b) also has a fair few sti parts underneath, the front and rear suspension both look a lot like the sti set up. I can't wait to get it registered and on the road!

It looks like the new wrx/sti shape to me, or and older version of that new shape, if that makes sense.

Anyway, I like it. It's quite unique.

Question then guys what makes you think its very expensive? As well specced mechanically as any of the JDM STis including the S20* Series with its bespoke suspension etc, They only made 286 of these also... Prices of 22bs and other "rare" scoobs go absolutely scatty, Surely this can match the value of say a Blob JDM STi? I have owned both and know what i prefer... Think basic Toyota to Lexus quality. It is that different!

It is a hard one,in my opinion it's just the age as if I was going to buy a car I'd want the newest in terms of year and shape that I could get for my budget.
it's also a small audience for the legacy and the impreza is most people's choice.
I think it's worth the money but there's not many people out there who are that into the legacy unfortunately.
ive got a wr limited legacy wagon with similar power and paid half the price.
have you had any offers?

Yeah thats the thing probably 95% of people just think Impreza and discount the legacy while its the otherway round in japan. Having experience of both and its night and day but people obviously dont know this.
And nope not even a message, Loads of general interest but no wasters or anything which is strange lol. Normally get the muppets saying things like "Alright bruv i will give you 5k" but nada!

Rarity itself doesn't automatically mean a car commands strong money.

The S201 is one of the rarest classics and when one came onto the market recently, the seller couldn't find a buyer.

UK300 - only 300 cars and they're not really selling for much of a premium.

Bugeye Tommy Kaira - probably the only one in the UK and it's been on sale at £10k for two years.

I like Legacies (had a BH5 myself) but the pool of people in this country willing to pay £10k for a 15 year-old example is much smaller than for a JDM Impreza, which itself is a niche market. Yours looks like a lovely car BTW.

Is it possible to sell overseas?
America?
back to Japan?
have you asked dealers like Hurst cars what they would be willing to give you for it?

Again nothing too special, Tarted WRX at best?

Thanks for your comments mate, Think the main reason is the Niche bit and its not what people would consider really. Again think its madness, Its literally an improved Impreza

To be fair, there’s a simple reason why that s201 didn’t sell (I remember the same car!). They are utterly horrific to look at lol! I genuinely wouldn’t drive one they’re that bad to look at (in my opinion of course). Regardless of how technically brilliant it may be, it looks like a 90’s max power reject.

I know Ian Godney (Godspeed Brakes) exported a 22B back to Japan, utter nightmare but do-able.
