Car Model / Usage / Monthly Fuel Costs / MPG
I was just sifting through my recent fuel receipts as I declare and claim my business mileage.
Then thought it might be interesting to see what others are doing?
2008 Hatch STI (circa 360+bhp) / 50% pleasure 50% Business / Generally average £200 pm, recently closer to £300-£350 / Average 30mpg on a long run, 25mpg urban.
Considering buying a second car, I'll do some math first as I only average around 8k miles per year combined....
Robert.

Interesting figures Robert, I have been using my 08' STI hatch (stock) and according to the computer been doing between 28-29mpg combined with a 34-35mpg long motorway journey. Generally get 320-330miles per tank on VPower.
This coming from late 30's in an MG TF I was actually quite happy. Havent got official figures, but be interested to see what everyone else is doing. So:
2008 Hatch STI (stock) / 50% pleasure 50% commute / Generally between £200-300 per month / Average 34/35mpg on a long long run, 28/29mpg combined.

'03 WRX Wagon, roughly 330bhp. Daily driver doing about 16 miles each way to work and back, and of course all the other daily driver tasks. Averaging just over 28mpg at the moment according to my fuel app.

The wrx wagon ppp 246/270 does around 30 mpg.
2.5 fully forged bug sti does around 22 mpg.
Norris spec Evo does around 18-20 mpg.
The 2008 hatch sti I had before the bug was returning 25-30 mpg, I did see 33 mpg when doing motorway miles. It was running 361/400.

According to the fuel app I use, since May 2015 my blob PPP wagon has done an average of about 500 miles a month, 27.4 mpg and costs me about £100 a month in fuel. I use it once a week for commuting, plus long trips. Max efficiency ever was 32 mpg, min was 10 mpg (at Silverstone)
