It's been "re-engineered" for a different purpose...........

I drive past Prodrive everyday and ive been seeing a few new shape LHD STi's on the car park and going up and down the M40 with testing equipment attached, They also have been in that really light blue colour(like Focus RS Nitrous blue) only other noticeable thing is that there on USA plates, so might mean that the USA are getting a limited edition Prodrive model

Everything appears to be driven by Subaru of America and STI

I hope they use an actual production version for the record.
If only to put those pesky FWD Civic Type R and Golf Clubsport S in their place.

Sure would be nice to see what that IOM car can do at the ring in capable hands too but pretty pointless if its a unique one off.

There are three light blue LHD cars and 3 matt black wrapped Monster liveried cars here are the TT this year. They're all 2014 spec so need to go somewhere in the Winter. There are a couple of Outback and XV cars too one of which I drive as a Response car Marshal there. Very low mileages on all of these cars, but the STIs do laps for VIPs at lunchtimes during race week. Might be some of them outside Prodrive?

I've just read that the RA will have 'strengthened pistons'.

Only took 11 years lol

Only for the US market AFAIK.

The "new" BRZ tS will be the third incarnation (previous JDM versions in 2013 and 2015)

It seems now that STI have a US base SOA are looking at increasing their market share.
They have also started producing the ordinary Imprezas at Lafayette now.
