Default Enginetuner - stolen engine

I am sure Alan will be along later once he is back from France.

But the garage was broken into on Saturday night and the only thing taken was a built 2.1 ready to go in a car.

Basic spec is: Precision turbo, RCM headers, CC clutch.

Please share and keep an eye open on the sites.

Thanks,

Steve

Sad to hear
Shame all the hard work gone in then stolen
Customer having to wait for another engine build really feel for them and the garage owners hope you have insurance etc so it's less headache for you to sort damage caused
but it's obviously someone who knows it was there and probably had best part of £1200 from selling it the dirty scum ...

You know you'll never hear a thing as whoever buys it not going to say anything are they ??
Unless you got good footage on cctv but the scum put there hoodies on

Thieving *****. I'd imagine it will be hard to sell whole, as most forums and Facebook groups will be aware of it.

The engine was one of our legendary strokers, and very distinctive with the silver finish and plated bolts and fittings. It's a CDB with AVCS heads and won't fit any car of course. It had RCM headers and a Precision turbo bolted on it.
NOTHING else was touched in our premises, so I'd say a targeted job.
We have CCTV and I'm now getting names, addresses car reg numbers etc.

Of course as a professional business we are fully insured and I'm making sure that my customer gets an even better deal than the one he had.

My feeling is that this engine will be too hot to handle, and sooner or later people who behave like this are always going to have some misery visited upon them. One way or another!

Sorry to hear this Alan. Life is full of low lives. They must have known that was there and of the spec to target that engine specifically. Does really make you worry about divulging any info to anyone in the future.

Will keep my eyes open.
