Default 2000 Legacy estate cylinder head(s)

One or both of my head gaskets need replacing and I'd like a recommendation of someone who's done it before in the Milton Keynes area and an informed guess at the number of labour hours.

If it speeds matters along, my phone is 07722 443356. Thanks in anticipation.

Try Tim Farmer. Excellent mobile subaru specialist.
He's on 07880661866
Or seach for subbus on Facebook.
Give him a call and he can probably estimate time and price over the phone.

Thanks for your reply, Stuart.

I'll call him tomorrow but I wondering if a mobile mechanic could realistically take on a job like that?

Possibly. He's rebuilt the 2.5 of a friend's GB270, and he engine of another blob wagon on here so I know he has done jobs before that aren't normally done by a mobile mechanic.
I genuinely can't recommend him enough. He's a proper specialist and enthusiast. Even if he can seem like a grumpy old bugger.

He did the clutch on my 5 speed on the drive in the freezing cold. Top bloke. Make sure you get some decent coffee in for him.
