Yep , I believe it did ! Made good power at rcm also ! It's ported and had a billet wheel I think.

Lol, depends I suppose. It is still a vf35 after all and you still have old turbos about that are now newer billet versions .

Bullet wheels make quite a difference.

Yeah a surprising difference an extra 30 bhp. All the compressor and cartridge is stock, it's literally just a billeted wheel bolted on.

Where did you get the wheel from? Are hot and cold sides ported?
Wouldnt mind doing this to my Vf35 prior to mapping...or i shell out for a blouch 16g xt-r.

The exhaust side was ported just to reduce my boost creep. The wheel is just an eBay job 12 blade I think, standard is 6.

Can you just fit the wheel without balancing etc, not that clued up on turbos!
Was planning to get the wheel and a rebuild kit.
Also is it possible to drive after fitting, untill mapped?

cheers

Not advisable, they spin at a high rate so any imbalance and it will what itself.

You can but don't go above 2500rpm so it doesn't come on boost and drive as little as possible

Is it worth porting a turbo then? Thinking about doing it to mine. Will it increase spool?

I didn't rebalance mine just replaced the wheel bolted it back together. Yes it spools up alot quicker. I then drove 300 miles to have it remapped gave it some up the motorway and it drove fine just a bit of hesitation between 3-4k rpm. Ime not saying to boost and run without a remap but sensibly driving it will get you to your tuner.
