There are plenty of Foresters being broken on ebay. Have you tried there ?

Is it this you require : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-For...cAAOSwoJZXS0o7 ?

hi thanks for the reply , yes it is the bit , the problem is it's more of a wearing out part if that makes sense so what i buy maybe as bad , there is a rough finish to them mine has worn off , i've tried to lubricate it but it just makes more mess , so i'm thinking new rather than used

Lots of places selling from new in the US. Might be worth a quick call to import car parts to see if they can get hold of one ?

i tried a number of us ones they won't ship to the uk , i found a jap supplier called megazip so i've ordered from them it's a bit cheaper about 17£ or so less so liveable , googled the company first seem to have positive reviews , see if i get hit on tax if i do then there wont be any saving doing it this way but it's worth a punt

Good find ! That's a site worth remembering. I've used rockauto.com in the past as they ship to the UK, but they didn't have any weather strips that matched your specific part no. this time.
