Default Would I have damaged anything

Morning all. So my car is back from builders , currently on running in. Up to 3k revs for 300 miles , 4K to 400 then up to 5k with 0.5 bar boost. So have done 410 and yesterday on way back from day out overtook a tractor and a bmw was coming the other way at about 100+ mph , I got caught halfway, so dropped a gear and booted it. Went past very quick and backed off but boost gauge hit 1.65 bar ??? It was that or crash. Will all be ok ? Car drove fine after.

I doubt it, ive been down a rabbit hole with this and my conclusion was with the info online and speaking with experts was, after 300miles the motor is run as much as ever going to be.

Some motorsports guys run in their motors on the track.

Been out today for about another 100 miles and all seems fine have run boost to around 1.0 bar and pulls well despite not having injectors and map done yet. So hopefully all good.

If it’s not been mapped you need to take it carefully. Without knowing what sort of running in map has been loaded it’s difficult to tell, but you should avoid any prolonged high load throttle inputs until it’s properly mapped. It’s doubtful you’ve done any damage though if it was brief.

Hello mate.
no running in map , would only be previous map that was still on it unless it has been tweaked , the builder had his mapper come in a do something regarding air deletes ? Lol , he is going to map it anyway now as don’t want to drive to Edinburgh on injectors and no map. Used ecutek so he may have done something else. Was in it for about an hour he will then do proper map after pump / injectors and second oil/ filter change.
