Anti roll bars

whitelines of course. Plenty of them about for second hand on facebook groups and cheap. One of the best mods i ever did was fit the anti roll bars to my car.
P.S. - If rear is adjustable, I set mine on hard, car's are known to udnersteer, so having a harder rear anti roll bar will help balance it out a bit.

There was a very informative discussion on this a couple of days ago.

NB. The front arb is pain to get out.

apparently racing drivers either loosen off or disconnect roll bars in the wet as per my above comment , i did this on my fsti and it's set to middle rating , i just did the rear , coilovers have a bigger effect than arbs if you don't mind the firmer ride

on a 2010 WRX STI i decided to go for whiteline 22mm front and whiteline 24mm rear both adjustable, i found that it made a world of difference to how the car feels while cornering hard, feels like it is now pivoting from the center and the is almost no understeer, it will understeer with hard acceleration but its dramatically less (Note this is in the dry on good rubber)
In the wet i have had the back end go twice, its not a nice experience, i might drop the rear to 23mm in the winter due to the weather, the is no chance in the cold wet conditions with winter tyres i can get the front to let go, it always seems to be the rear.
Still prefer it this way than stock, much funner to drive

i agree with you better driving but you want a bit of warning before it goes wrong no good if you end up by spanking your car , the coilovers are still a good way forward i picked up some used bc ones and that made a lot of difference much more than a roll bar

Out of interest what BC series/car was that on? was always told unless you spend a good 2k+ on coils they wont offer much over stock in regarding to their dampening/compression/rebound finesse etc, was half tempted to get the BC coilovers that cost circa 700-800 but was advised it wont add much other than adjustability so i went with ARB's.

If you fit the same size front and rear, you are actually making the front stiffer in comparison to stock and will therefore increase understeer?

The front is also adjustable.
The S204 runs 21mm bars front and back - just saying
R205 comes with 21F and 19R, as standard, if you are also adding coilovers this will stiffen it up further.

the rear replacement arb on mine had three settings i opted for the middle , car behaves better now as the back stays a lot flatter , the only thing is standard fsti arb was not very big and was smaller than a like sti one , i still advise coilovers as bigger improvement
