What! watching rude idiots that need to get their priorities staight run over each other for a 50" TV in the local supermarket! Forget televising twits in a jungle and start filming this rediculous behaviour instead for reality TV. Show them for what they are.

I like black Friday on amazon myself

Yes it might be a gimmick, but I enjoy browsing through various categories looking at deals.

Last year I bought an Amazon fire TV box for 25 quid off, and I've not seen that cheaper since.

Cheers for this - needed some front pads for my focus, been on the wear indicator for months! - originally £22 put in BLACKFRIDAY to get a random discount ended up paying £13.10 including same day delivery!

and all they are getting is old stock that had been sat in a warehouse, but now is flying off the shelves due to a big sign stating 75% off (and in small print saying 75% off the original RRP from 3 years ago)

It's like the 'bargain' section in Next or USC, or McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, its old stock that is left over and they want rid of it, they reduce the price and make it look like a bargain and stupid people buy it!

Got an email from euro car parts saying about huge savings, so searched for a set of KYB shocks... yep, £120 discount!!!!

No problem, what % did you get off? As i bought some pads few weeks ago for £10 delivered got 30% off.

They also have 50% off all oil, but i bought some cans for Castrol GTX magnetic a few weeks back for £16 each delivered. Just got on there today used blackfriday code and its £24.33 per can delivered or if you use oil50 code its £18.02 delivered. That just shows its one big Gimmick.

I know we dont like black friday gimmicks on this site, but Halfords industrial toolbox for 174quid is a bargain IMO.

From what I've seen they tend to do 300 for both the bottom and top every so often, but I've never seen the bottom available separately at a decent price (haven't looked recently, mind)

I've got the top and bottom already, and the bottom box is brilliant, and a right bargain at the price imo
