Default advice/opinions needed

So I got back from my holiday a while back and the next day i took the scooby out to give a bit of life back into the battery.
During the journey luckily very close to my work I had the oil light flash up followed by a rattling noise.
I quickly pulled over and put in a little extra oil and slowly made my way to my works car park.

Now I know the damage has been done and its going to be a bottom end job at best but I need you guys opinion on what to do next.
My plan was to sell up anyway as I have been doing 4 times the mileage I was when I first got it.

Am I better off getting it fixed and selling it or should I sell it like it is??

Its an 04 plate blobeye sti with the prodrive pack.

Its covered 94k I think.

I dont want to break it for parts as I would love to see it back on the road again.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

firstly avoid rotherham scoobies then id say the best option is to get a second hand engine from a REPUTABLE breaker and fit it then sell on.

Dont bother and just get a proper rebuild done if you planning on keeping the car.

Speak to Scott at Scooby spares, I called over the other day, he's got some really fresh engines out of cars they've dismantled. Best breaker out there!
