Default 321v on 2 litre - anyone tried it?

As title really.
Don't really need to have an argument about the pros and cons or that it will suffer from eons of lag, but anyone who has actually owned/driven a 2 litre car with a 321v I would be interested to hear what you thought of the combination.
Reason I am asking is that I have a well used SC46 which I know will work well on a 2L. I also have a very underused 321v with a 58mm inlet.
I know ffrom my own experience, and been advised by a well respected tuner, that the sensible thing to do would be to use the '46. But I want to scratch the 321 itch if possible. Let me know your thoughts.

If I remember right the 321V is based on GT3076 compressor, cant compare directly as I had a rotated gt3076 non billet on a 2 litre, below 4k there was not much there but once you hit 4.5k it pulled all the way to 8k. This was non avcs sti version 3 heads, I say go for it try something different

Cheers Banny. I think we must share similar thought processes.
I don't mind waiting for the rush (a little), but I don't want it to be undriveable or 'snappy'. Whichever turbo I use will be going on a JDM engine so there will be plenty of RPMs to be had. This is a billet turbo so I would hope the response would be a little better than a non-billet.

I ran a billet v on my 2.0 classic Sprint car...built heads non avcs with cams

Made 525 on rcm rollers

Previously ran a rotated gt30 with standard version 5 heads and can say the 321v was an improvement with spool and power .... But prob down to cams/ported heads etc....

525 is impressive on RCM's dyno, as it is conservative compared to some.

Tried 2.1s on both the non billet and billet versions of the 321V and thought it to be a bit laggier than I'd like for road use, but very impressive on the strip.
On a 2.5 it's mega !
