Does the WRX blobeye have an Aluminium bonnet?

Just came across an advert for a bonnet saying its made from Aluminium?

another ebay/facebook myth

stick a magnet on it to confirm

the spec c hawk has an alluminium boot lid.

As i thought. The car isn't here at moment or i would have. Only reason i asked is because of this advert.

Most Subaru tuners have told me it is. Like I keep saying though it's hard to find a true Subaru guru.

It definatly is aluminum, you can tell when you open it, it's just light.
Also when you paint them and rub them down tj bare metal you can see what it's made of quite clearly.
And of course try a magnet on it.

Havent got one to hand but by hand it weighs nothing . Along with the framless doors and boxer engine = good low centre of gravity

I got told a Carbon Fibre bonnet weighs 3kg, Aluminium 6kg and a steel one 12kg.
