I'd rarther put up with my rock hard pieces of wood coilovers till I buy replacments.
Was only going to be a stop gap, which I chose not to bother in end.

You just get back to practicing your launches

All these P1's being bought at auction for big bucks (trade prices) can't all be being bought by fools....can they....maybe the fools are closeR to home

As an investment the P1 is a better car its as simple as that but we are not collecters just people who want to enjoy their cars and on that basis the type r is my preferred choice

I see his inbox is full with messages of support from other 'r' owners who haven't made the 'leap' and come out..... yet

Tidgy, I was having a look over your fantastic post count and I must say you do have some really good things to say about the P1, another closet lover perhaps

P1 is a 2 door V5 STI ( as banny said earlier) Type R is a bit of a handful to drive at speed even in standard guise, add a fuel pump and a remap and you're going to be releasing another 50 ponies from the quoted 280bhp, between the brakes, wayward handling and the love it or bin it lift off oversteer many of them ended up in a field or at the very least facing the wrong way in a ditch at the side of the road (been there done that, well on the grass verge, fortunately) so they were toned down and fitted with abs for the UK market, given a couple of badges and sold in the UK.

As I said way back at the start of the thread, those in the know buy the Type R, those that buy the P1 eventually come to the realisation that they have been mugged but have to keep up the facade to save face, much like the newage STI brigade on here.

what you should have said was 'those smart enough to have bought a P1 are now laughing all the way to the bank and have a real classic sitting in their garage' the mugs are the type r owners that listen to drivel

Not Come out yet cos I've been too busy enjoying the drive of the type r rather than polishing the p1 badges.

Interesting read this just to compare the Uk P1 against a Type r no contest in my eyes a Type r is a all round better car maybe not worth big money like the P1 but just to go out and drive it puts a smile on my face as i drive my type r everyday .

don't go quoting my name on something you've written
put your own name down for what you write, if you can't think of anything smart then go play somewhere else

But it's you, so I believe every single word of it. You chat so much complete bollocks 100% of the time that it's completely believable in every way. You're like a more retarded version of RS_****, but less funny.

You should try taking life a little less seriously, oh and spend a little more time thinking about yourself, and ways to improve.
