Default Impreza UK Turbo 2000 factory extras? What were they?

As above, does anyone know for sure what optional/factory extras were available on a year 1999/2000 UK Turbo 2000 Impreza? I've searched the net and the only two things I can find is Air-Con and footwell mats. I'm just curious...

I know about the WR Sport version which had all the Prodrive bits added, but I'm not referring to that.

Aircon, Prodrive interior, (inc electrically adjusted Recaros), metallic paint, (but they wouldn't do WRC blue), sunroof, but not with aircon, that was about it.

So not only did the Japs and IM withhold the goodies they got in Japan, sel it for £7000 more here without them, they refused them as dealer fits too

The ONLY official options in the brochure were Air-con, Leather and Met Paint.

But sunroofs were available - and everything else via the supplying dealer were all the official Prodrive stuff and I.M. dealer accessories

Thumbs up

But I seem to remember my uk car had the 'Bright' button. Not sure if the Japanese had that as an option.

Back in the day, I think Subaru UK accepted the scoobysport back box as a bonifide upgrade that didn't invalidate the warranty.

Mine had leather and an electric sunroof. Plus of course the amazing "bright" button.

I obtained a few accessory brochures relating to my UK car and also on the list were:

Rubber mats
Floor mats
Boot cargo tray
Gauge pack with temperature, atmospheric pressure and compass
Ice warning system
Wood trim for the heater vents and radio/heater panel.
Cruise control
Head lamp protectors
Fog lamp protectors
Various roof racks and bicycle carriers.

I also got the 1999 price list if you want to know what any accessory cost at the time.

That's really interesting to know, so those that you have posted above are in an official Subaru accessory brochure relating to a 1999/2000 Impreza? Almost like extra extras? Yeah put the prices down here for interest sake!

Depends what you mean by factory options. Leather was not a factory option as it was always done in the UK and sometimes by local to the dealer upholsterers.

The sunroof I believe was a factory item although I have seen at least one car with an aftermarket sunroof supplied from new.

Aircon was fitted in the UK by IM too as the JDM cars had proper climate control.

Awesome! That's really interesting. What's the name of that brochure if you don't mind me asking? I want to see if I can find one on eBay. I don't think any of us have seen an Impreza with optional wood trim or sat nav .

Single colour leather was £1350, the accessory price list states that piping and two colour mix were extras.

My seats were plain blue but I've seen seats with different colour bases and shoulder sections.

As to the question above, the accessory catalogue is 12 pages and just called Impreza 2.0 Series Accessories part number SB125.

The accessories price list from April 1999 is 4 pages and part number SB119.

Very interesting stuff indeed.

Gotta love that fake wood trim, proper executive style....hahaha...
I also learnt from the chaps over on TypeRA that prodrive offered the same sticker trim but in a fake carbon effect.

Yep, it is quite fascinating really and I'm surprised no one has asked my question before. It goes to show that there was so much customisation with the Impreza. I'm sourcing a 1999 Turbo 2000 accessory brochure so I can have a look for myself!

This is interesting if you haven't seen it before: http://rb5.paulhooker.co.uk/rb5oc/mo...F%20MANUAL.pdf

Individual Prodrive fitted extras:
17" Prodrive 7 in silver, gold or anthracite with Pirelli P-zero's.
Bilstein / Eibach “Professional” suspension kit
Quick shift gear change
Upgraded exhaust rear silencer
Driving light conversion
WRC replica rear spoiler
Prodrive Recaro ‘Sport’ front seats
Brake pad upgrade
Front brake disc upgrade (grooved)
Prodrive 330mm front brake conversion

...or you could opt for specific packages.

Prodrive 'Packages:'
PERFORMANCE PACKAGE: Uprated engine managament system, upgraded intercooler piping, centre and rear stainless steel performance exhaust silencers, MUST be fitted by Prodrive, Only available as a complete package - components cannot be bought separately, Manufacturer’s warranty unaffected, Certificate of fitment to enhance resale values.

DRIVING ENHANCEMENT PACKAGE: Prodrive / Eibach uprated suspension kit with Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs, 17” premium alloy wheels in gold or silver with Pirelli P-Zero tyres, Quickshift gear change, Includes recommended fitting time of 6 hours by Prodrive.

INTERIOR PACKAGE: Prodrive Recaro ‘Sport’ front seats in black Artista fabric, Door trims and rear seats covered in matching Recaro cloth, Aluminium or carbon gear ****, Tailored carpet mat set with Prodrive embroidery, Includes fitting by Prodrive (3 hours) and re- trimming.

EXTERIOR PACKAGE: Prodrive WRC replica rear spoiler with brake light, Upper and lower spoilers (5dr), High intensity driving light conversion, Body-coloured sill extensions and door mirrors with black bumper accents, Includes recommended fitting time of 2 hours by Prodrive and 16 hours bodyshop.

...and if you had all of these packages, it would make your Turbo 2000 the 'WR Sport' model with exclusive prodrive and wr sport badging.

Also interesting to note, the prodrive recaro seats in the package are different to if you opted for them separately. In the package they come in a different trim and prodrive retrim the door cards and rear seats to match, whereas separately they come in the normal trim to match the existing door cards and rear seats. Oh, and both have electric height and tilt adjustment too.

Anyone know if the Lamco gauge pack was available here, or was it JDM only?
