not having much luck with Performance 1 Coatings, i received an email asking if i could send the pipes back i have said that isnt going to happen they have had two attempts to get it right already.I rang them yesterday lunchtime and spoke to a chap who said he would get Linda who deals with any issues to call me asap. She never called a complete waste of time.
All i want is my money back but i cant see that happening.
A £282 lesson.

Did you enjoy the car? After all the time, effort and money you've put into this monster I'm glad it's finally paying off.

I have been told there will be no refund from Performance 1 Coatings.
They want me to send my pipes back but that wont be happening.
I should have taken notice of the reviews i read. An expensive lesson !!
Since i have driven Prescott hillclimb i have a few ideas for the car over the winter.
Suspension overhaul new tyres , sort out brake judder i have recently had pads and discs fitted so i dont know why i have the juddering and get the slipping clutch sorted.
The spending never ends.

next on my list is a quick steering rack from a spec C .
Then there is the juddering on the front brakes, the discs were new in May for the mot calipers have been checked .The calipers are AP racing but not the discs so i might have a search for the proper bells and rotors.Note to wallet brace yourself.

My car is back with Ryan on the 19th to have the extreme clutch fitted.
There are a couple of small jobs I will get him to look at while it is there.

My car is back with Ryan to have the Extreme clutch fitted.
While it is there he will spray the ic pipes that Performance Coatings messed up,they kept my money though.
Also he is going to clean up the engine block and coat it,with what I can't remember.

Good luck, Dave.

I've just got my Bugeye wagon back yesterday from Ryan following a full underbody resto and refurb - so I made some space for yours.

I have to say that Ryan guy really can do magic. He took mine from this:

...(when no-one else would touch it and I thought it was curtains)... to this..

... and finally to this..

All in the space of a few weeks either side of Christmas!
And he popped in a 6 speed while he was screwing it all back together.

As you already know, your car's in good hands.

Had a problem with the friction plate so having to wait for one from Australia.
I am having Hardrace engine mounts, gearbox mount and a pitch stopper fitted while the engine is out.
I have managed to find a quick rack so that will be fitted along with Whiteline top mounts.

I have a U-frame here in good condition, if of interest? Bought it to replace the one on mine which was still OK but showing early signs of rot...then sold the car lol.

Having some aero catches fitted is another job for the future.
Have to find what is a quality make. Locking or not which is best ?
All advice gratefully received
