I have the jdm engine with new oil pump, new gates timming belt, new watter pump and new clutch .
I mounting the jdm engine loom in my EU car. to run the jdm engine with the jdm ecu. I think that this is the most difficult step of my work. I have the jdm sti ra v2 engine, ecu and engine loom but the rest of the car works with the original 1998 european wirings for lights, fuel, electrical windows gauges etc...
jdm engine-ecu wires
sti ra engine and gearbox and rear diff
finally the car runs completly normal and fine. I need to work some weeks more but is a easy work.
Only i have a problem with the ecu control for the radiator fans, because i dont find the correct pinout to send the signal to the relay of the fans.
Remember that i run the original european electrical loom of the car with original relays and the jdm loom for ej20g engine and ecu

The result
ATS 1.5 metal LSD with redline 80-140 oil
ASPerformance oil sump and motul 300v 15-50 oil

Spain is a nightmare.... Subaru dealer is the worse...
Spanish dealers of motorsport parts are very expensive and dont help you without money back.... And here dont have the tradition and the culture that you have in Uk.
I have bought all in uk. Some times with bad luck, but is better than here in Spain.

Well finally I ran my first rallysprint.
The car works well. But the bilstein street coilovers are not enough to control the car. I will send it to a Bilstein especialist (Tecnoshock) here in Spain to prepare them.
You can see all the action in this facebook page http://www.facebook.com/Subaru555Asturias
