206 Impreza WRC!!!!
I know a few of you saw this at the NBO, but I thought the rest of you might like to see it. It's a Peugeot 206 World Rally Car built on a 1998 Impreza floor pan!
It runs full subaru engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes, wiring etc.... So essentially it's a 206-aru! It has plexiglass side & rear windows, and all the body panels are either fibreglass, kevlar or carbon so it's not the heaviest thing either!
Were planning on building a big power EJ22 CDB and entering it next seasons Time Attack Series! (Do you know where there is a donor block?)
What do you think?
(Ignore the wheels- they were just to move it around!)

Because what would be interesting & unique about building ANOTHER quick Subaru? Weve built LOADS of fast Subarus, and theres HUNDREDS about- several are competing in the Time Attack.
We thought fans would appreciate seeing something different & origonal.

Looks good. Would be interesting to know the throught process and involvement, time taken in something like this, and what the finished article will be like? What is the ultimate goal?
Hi JP4. The thought process was a bit out of the ordinary to be honest. It began with a customer who owns a 206 that we have been modifying for several months. He then saw what we were doing with Subarus and decided he wanted a road going 206 with Subaru engine, gearbox & suspension.
At the same time we were considering building a car to get me out competing again, either in Rally or Racing, and had began to look into the Time Attack.
We looked into the customer project and decided it would be nice to build a road going version alongside a fully blown race car.
After a bit of hunting around to see what had been done before we found an ex rallycross 206 shell that had been modified to take the Subaru engine, so we purchased that and used it as a base to work from.
We've still got an awful lot of work to do but once its finished I think it will be a bit special! We have a BHP figure of around 700, and are looking at various options for the rest of the car.
I would like to use it for more than just the Time Attack.... Drifting would be nice, but the wheelbase doesnt lend itself well so we'll have to see!
