One in the last pic is the starter earth, top bolt on the starter motor goes through it.

The one in the second last pic has been piss poorly repaired by the looks of it, and goes to the hole in the slam panel that can be seen beside the overflow tank. The mounting hole is visible in the pic to the left of the "C" on the cap.

Not really two earths for the starter, since everything electrical is earthed somewhere.

The thinner earth would normally run around the back of the battery, IIRC.

Thanks Micky, will be able to get the garage open tonight to have a look; conservatory now finished and all the detritus now in a skip instead of in front of my garage doors

Thanks to @blockhead for the PM with plug info too

You know him so well. He's a proper knacker.

It is wrong, pressure reg should be in between the fuel rails and return to tank.

I had a bit of a moment and made an impulse ebay purchase of a v5 re-trimmed wagon interior. I liked the way it lifted the interior but I didn't like the colour or the v5 drivers seat...so I bit the bullet and got my v6 interior re-covered by Concept Interiors.

Being a little obsessive I wasn't happy with the big-*** Momo wheel and I managed to source a MY03 sti wheel, paint strip it and clean it up to get it to match.

Hi mate ive just started reading your thread from the start.Ive noticed that you have binned your aircon. Which fan did you remove and does it have a high speed set up?I worried about removing my fan and it over heating.I have a 1997 uk2000 wagon

Sorry, bad at replying to this these days

I think it’s the left hand fan...can’t quite remember! Worth noting that I am going back to two fans to aid cooling, albeit low profile modern version. There should be some photos in here somewhere.
