One in the last pic is the starter earth, top bolt on the starter motor goes through it.
The one in the second last pic has been piss poorly repaired by the looks of it, and goes to the hole in the slam panel that can be seen beside the overflow tank. The mounting hole is visible in the pic to the left of the "C" on the cap.

Ahh so starter has two earths?

Not really two earths for the starter, since everything electrical is earthed somewhere.
The thinner earth would normally run around the back of the battery, IIRC.
Thanks Micky, will be able to get the garage open tonight to have a look; conservatory now finished and all the detritus now in a skip instead of in front of my garage doors

I had a bit of a moment and made an impulse ebay purchase of a v5 re-trimmed wagon interior. I liked the way it lifted the interior but I didn't like the colour or the v5 drivers seat...so I bit the bullet and got my v6 interior re-covered by Concept Interiors.

Being a little obsessive I wasn't happy with the big-*** Momo wheel and I managed to source a MY03 sti wheel, paint strip it and clean it up to get it to match.

I think it’s the left hand fan...can’t quite remember! Worth noting that I am going back to two fans to aid cooling, albeit low profile modern version. There should be some photos in here somewhere.
Life is continuing to conspire against me, just got D’s Swift Sport mot’d but S2000 is currently on jack stands waiting for the the brakes to come back from being refurbished. A surprise n/s rear wheel lock was exciting exiting an A road after a vigorous run
