Default My project

Fought I would share my on going build on my 09 prodrive wrx-s, it won't be to everyone's liking but I like to be different 😁,
1st thing I did was sort the horrible floaty rear end, cdf racing arb and support bars,

Then Kyb adjustable shocks with tein springs helped on top of that transformed the car,

ON to the shocking brakes from standard, I replaced with a front 356mm ksport forged the rear with 330mm kit with ebc red stuff pads

And then I looked into the styling as in original form it looked very bland and boring despite the factory sti upgrades, 1st up a splitter I made from alloy composite sheet,

The sound annoyed me well lack of it to be precise so I tried a few options none of them worked, so I decided back box delete and feed out of the bumper as you do 😂 sounded spot on was well happy now 😁

On to the rear, I 1st tried perrin lifter kit but looked to RS focus so binned that for a varis one, I was fortunate enough to pick up a carbon mid spoiler at a great price 😁

Next up the mad moment 😂, I decided the oe diffuser looked out of place with no back box so out come the grinder and that was that, after playing about with a few idea's I decided go large or go home, I now have a full diffuser made by myself,

I liked the old school bonnet vents and decided I wanted some on mine of my own design , planning and getting the size right took some doing and I'm very happy with the end result,

wheels I got on black Friday sale 18 x 8 et35 team dynamics ,

overall I'm mega happy how it's progressing and yes I accept be haters, but only opinion that matters is mine and I love it 😁😁😁

i like it buddy and credit for doing what you want and not giving a **** lol

i will be honest and say the rear diffuser is a little much, perhaps if it was shaped at the edges to follow the curves of the bumper it would look better.

just get saving now for when the 2.5 decides to eat itself lol

I'm on 90k and 5 years ownership it's not missed a beat, I don't listen to the scare stories, I maintain it and don't thrash it but if it does happen then so be it.

Mine very rarely goes near or above 5k, and the headgasket(s) went at 120k. It'll happen, it's just a case of when.
