Example photo of what I mean, although the car is on stands ATM to save my tyres from getting flat spots, when I put car down it still seems to look like positive camber slightly, will this relax once rolled/driven?
See the top mount for passenger side which is fully over towards inside of car to give neg camber.

Your suspension will travel through an arc so yes expected.

On suspension compression you will get chamber gain from its natural (ride height position)

Sorry that language has baffled me lol.
So you agree that the suspension will relax and create neg camber once rolled or driven etc as when I put it down it doesn't seem to look like neg camber?

Yes mate I'd expect that with wheels of the ground.

Ok thanks, it's just I'm probably too used to the old suspension which had much less travel when up in the air and didn't get as much of a positive camber when mid air so hence putting less stress on the hub angle.

I'll try get a picture flat on ground but the way I've got the negative camber I'd of expect it to be a bit more obvious when in air and more so when on ground, but may just need driving to settle the tyre/hub stretch.

Well i got to the bottom of my camber issue above, turns out the washer that comes with camber bolts, the lug was facing towards away from the car, ive now faced it towards the inner side and now create more camber.
So now i can see camber while car is still in air and more so when grounded, which is what I expected as I've set it to max neg camber at the rear and will tweek it when it goes for geom.
I knew there was something not right!

And before

You can see how the top part of wheel is now tucked in

Well I've not updated this for quite a while now, I let the car sit over winter/xmas/new year.
But I'm hoping to get back to it ready for summer so hopefully no financial issues pop up, apart from the wife's just made me book an expensive holiday in July/august!

Anyway, This is what I've bought in meantime, (stocking fillers)

Rear firewall to cover the open rear as I have no back seats

A WRC timing belt tensioner (old style) which is more reliable for high power builds, I thought I'd better future proof myself

Just something I seen for sale pretty cheap so I bought it for a toy, will plug straight into my toucan, (I've seen the new plex screen for syvecs that I so want now )

And finally, bought another SC42, because I sold my old one with the intention to go bigger, but after a deep think I've changed my mind, again.
I loved how my car went before, was so rapid low down so would like it similar to that, later I may go bigger when I get bored.

I'm going to concentrate on my heads ATM and get them upto my spec and future proof them with Gucci parts........info soon to come

A special Gucci part came,
278/274 cams with 10.70mm lift.
.........some would say that these are 'identical' to cosworth KK3920's

Yes, but they might need shimming once valves are in.
I've got full super tech valve and springs kit etc to come also.
It's an expensive route not cheap tbh, probably in the 2k region all ready to fit.

Will the cams benefit your build atYour level or are they for future proofing? I was looking at some for mine but was advised it wasn’t worth it under 500-550.

Not massively on my turbo, but should brighten the curve slightly, a bigger turbo will deffo make a difference at top end. and yes future proofing if/when I get a bigger blower on then that's where it will shine.
But may as well spend a decent amount on heads so I'm ready for whatever.

Not updated in a while (I update more on my fb blog page if interested https://www.facebook.com/GC8v5R/)

But I've slowly starting collecting bits again and doing some prep work.

Had a dry day for once so been playing with angle grinder!
Before and after.
Thats prep done, (labour intensive but hopefully end result is worth it)
next is paint.

Couple of updates with the nice weather lately.
Managed a bit of prep again on cam covers and rocker covers ready for paint.

Also managed to get the final coat of wrinkle on cooling panel and inlet, so their done.
And alternator refurbished. (Thanks to dubzy for a couple of parts).
