Hi guys and gals I'm selling my December 1998 version 5 Sti Type R, due to lack of use. The car has only done 3000 miles in the last year! so its only done 53,000 miles from new! the car was imported into the country brand new so has all the bills and every MOT and SVA test since it was registered!!!! it has 3 previous owners, two of which are off scoobynet. its quite extensively modified but sensibly @ 297bhp and 280lb/f torque (i have a graph somewhere) so theres not a great deal of stress on the engine, but huge potential for a lot more if desired! the car has just been serviced last week so all is well. the cam belt was changed last year.
Right here's what she is made of
Engine:-
usual Sti red top engine, with inter-cooler water-spray, auto and manual
APS TMIC
APS cold air induction kit
full de-cat exhaust with HKS backbox
LINK Ecu( no MAF sensor) mapped by Bob Rawle (1.45 bar peak)
3 port boost solenoid
Bee*R power builder/rev limiter (rev limit set slightly lower so no over revving )
AP organic clutch
uprated fuel pump
Turbo XS RFL dump valve
knock link
lambda link
handling:-
usual DCCD, manual only
std red Sti shocks with Eibach springs
rear strut brace
bump steer mod
wheels and breaks
17" Rota Grids(7.5kg)
320mm discs on alloy bells with brembo 4pot calipers(was told they originate off a R33 skyline gtr)
the car also comes with the single digit WRX private number plate, this alone is apparently worth at least £1000.
and here the final important bit what I'm looking for £10,000 ono. I'm not in any hurry to sell as i still love the car, but feel its such a waste just sitting in the drive when someone else can have a lot of fun in it![]

its a 98 car not 99, other than that i can't explain they are the lights that came with the car
