Default Modified 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX/ SWAP

£14,000 o.v.n.o

Im thinking off selling my Scooby for a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7 or EVO 6 and was wondering if anyone would like to do a straight swap with my Scooby, as Ive always wanted a Evo and now the insurance is at a resonable price. So here is my beloved Scoob.

2004 Subaru Impreza WRX (Euro) in Black with gold fleck (standard Subaru paint), also has STi style bucket seats in black.

1st registered in March 2004

24,000miles with service history also last service was done at 22,000miles by API

Car is HPI cleared, has no outstanding finance as it was paid for cash.

I have owned this car since last year where I bought it as a standard WRX, and have added over £10k worth of extras.

Just had Eibach coilovers worth £800 put on last month fitted by Powerstation all set-up and AP 6-pot brake conversion fitted by TSL for £1,700 just before Xmas., also the car was remaped costing £700 last November, along with all the other engine mods.

Here is the spec list:

Engine:
VF28 turbo
STI version 8 Intercooler
Modded intercooler splitter
510cc STI Pink top injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Prodrive Sports Cat
Decat uppipe and thermal wrapped
Decat midsection
Graham Goode Backbox
3-Port boost solenoid
Green Panal filter
STI Version 8 dump valve
ECUtek remap mapped by Rich at Powerstation
Samco intercooler hose
Alloy oil cap

Suspension:
STI Titanium strut brace
Eibach Pro street adjustable coilovers
Alloy Rear drop links
Powerstation geometry set-up with bumpsteer mod all set up for Fast road use.

Brakes:
AP 6-Pot conversion with 356mm grooved discs
Braided brake lines
Ferodo pads

Wheels:
18” Prodrive OZ WRC-1 alloys in gold.

Exterior:
STi fog light covers
STI aero side pods on bumper
Scott Lowe TRU front splitter
Scott Lowe Carbon fibre GT rear spoiler (Original low spoiler included if not to taste, and can be easily changed over)
De-badged tailgate
De-tango’d front lights
Detango’d rear lights using silvertec bulbs

Rolling Road power graph which made 310bhp on Powerstation rollers, but could easy make 340bhp with the turbo, injectors, fuel pump etc thats fitted, and with the brakes and suspension already done it does make the perfect road car, and has better looks, performance, suspension and brakes then a STi.

Also car doesn’t need a MOT until March 2007 as car is to new to have one, also you will not need to put Catalyst converter back on as the downpipe has a Sports cat, so its fully road legal.

Car is located in the West Midlands.

Car also has Tracker.

I’m looking for a straight swap with either a EVO 7 or a EVO 6, PM with what you’ve got.

Private plate will not be included in the sale, and the car is on a 04 plate.

£14,000 o.v.n.o

Heres some(A few) pictures:

AP 6-pot Big Brake conversion

Front view pictures:

With TRU front splitter:

Rear of car: Note: Spoiler can be changed to low level standard WRX spoiler if Carbon wing is not to taste which will be given with car.

Exhaust: Graham Goode

Any questions PM me

Price:£14,000 o.v.n.o

Now with price: £14,000 o.v.n.o
Dont forget this car has had over £10k spent on her. Brakes conversion was £1,700, Prodrive wheels cost nearly £1,000, + the remap was £700, theres nearly £3k on 3 items.

May I suggest you rent an evo or have an extended test drive, you are going to miss the scooby sooooooooo much after the evo novelty wears off.

mmmm...brand spanking P-wrc1's arrived today...mmmmm

Cant see the picture, those Prodrive wheels look the best on any scoob.

Ive driven a Evo 7 RS and I loved it, I know that i'll miss the scooby but I've had 2 Scoobys now and its time to move on.

John, you must be amd you've only JUST got it to the awsome spec it is now..!

You forgot to mention (as it's an EU car) it has the much better bucket (STI style) seats..! A big point IMHO having experienced to cr@ppy uk seats.

All the best with the sale..

PS If the person who buys it doesn't want the spoiler then I'll buy it off you/them..

Alright Jason,

I'm going to give it a month, if I have no joy selling or swapping, I will keep it, Ive seen a few standard 04 wrx's with the same mileage going between £13.5-£14.5k.

If who ever buys the car doesn't like the spoiler I will send them your way.

Ive also seen that you have had some 18s fitted to your car, looks nice.
