Bob Crow dead

Union has confirmed he has passed away, aged 52.

Quite shocking!

alcazar 11 March 2014 11:31 AM

Not slit his own wrists and been found in a wood miles away with no blood anywhere near, then?

ReallyReallyGoodMeat 11 March 2014 11:36 AM

Or perhaps he poisoned himself with Polonium

alcazar 11 March 2014 11:38 AM

I'm VERY suspicious.......

Give up Jeff! You'll be branded a conspiracy theorist.

why,

overweight middle aged man with a high profile demanding job dies (presumably of a heart attack) during the night

f1_fan 11 March 2014 11:45 AM

Can't help but think of this after reading Boris Johnson's comments on the late Bob Crow

dpb 11 March 2014 12:18 PM

Way too young

jonc 11 March 2014 12:44 PM

May his train to heaven be on strike.

dnc 11 March 2014 12:57 PM

Can't say I agreed with many (any?) of his views/actions but it cannot be denied that he was very successful at what he did. The rail companies will be happy inside.

RIP Bob

There are very few men with whom I would want to stand beside me in a fight, he was one of them.

Like him or hate him, I would rather he be by my side than facing me.

RIP ..... his members know he was worth every single penny :thumb:

He scared the cr4p out of the namby pamby private schoolboy tories .....

As I said...VERY suspicious.

BlkKnight 11 March 2014 03:24 PM

He was only on the radio yesterday, sounded fine.

Boro 11 March 2014 04:04 PM

I'm sure the docs on here will explain. According to LBC he had an aneurysm, if it burst then its pretty likely fatal, although my mate survived one

Well chris I decided a while back (think it was the thread where I left a note on someone's car ) that you were just not worth bothering with and so rather than place you on an ignore list, I chose to simply be the bigger man and ignore your posts myself. I have also avoided threads/situations whereby any interaction with you would cause more aggro.

I now see, after your comment above, that you are still a complete **** of the biggest order and my initial appraisal of you was and still is spot on.

 and this is just for you ------> :thumb:

Edited for accuracy and as for the rest of it it's OK for you to be happy when someone is dead but not for me to say the same about you... well that's very balanced and fair isn't it? :cuckoo:

PS Hope it happens soon :thumb:

Fair play to the guy for appearing on HIGNFY and taking all the stick. He was a dinosaur though, and now extinct.

Lbc said he had a heart attack and a ruptured aneurysm. I'm assuming he ruptured an aneurysm (probably aortic) and then had a heart attack due to the resultant blood loss.

A ruptured aortic aneurysm has mortality rate of up to 80%.

Anyway, at least they'll be another council house available for someone who doesn't earn £100,000 a year.

His family are asking for no questions from the press at this sad time, plus 2 additional days off at Christmas. ;)

Probably too proud to spend out on Bupa

paulr 11 March 2014 06:37 PM

How sad. There are too few people in public life with integrity, and who stand by their principles.

You support the idea of social housing Ding?
