wheel bearings

where is the best place to buy wheel bearings from for a classic Scooby?

not sure if I have one on the way out but can detect a slight noise, not sure if its tyre noise from crap road surfaces or a bearing getting a little noisy. I have looked on ebay, but I want to make sure I am buying (if I need to ) something of decent quality but not over the odds.

secondly, I have changed wheel bearings on cars before, but have found there are some that you can carefully "drift out" where as others required to be pressed in and out.

which is it with Scooby wheel bearings, have they got to be pressed or can I drift them out?

thanks

I'd use only Subaru bearings. And they can be drifted out.

ok thanks, hoped they could

Yeah they can be drifted out. Easier just to take the hub somewhere and get it pressed out and the new on in though!! Get it from Import car parts, whilst they aren't "genuine subaru parts" the bearings are made by the same manufacturer who make the Subaru ones, but a fraction of the price.
