Newbie Advice... 55 WRX with PPP
 

Hi all,
I have just purchsed a new 55 WRX turbo with PPP and some other nice mods, as such I have a few questions so rather than put up multiple posts i thought i would try and put them all in this one.

Oil Temperature
THe car has oil temp, pressure and turbi gauges, but i wanted to know what the concensus is regarding the ideal oil temp before having some fun with the car.
I have been told to get it to 60+ before pushing the car, is this correct, as last thing I want to do is cause any damage to the car.

Oil
The car that I have bought will require a service in a little while and I am wondering if it needs any specific oil for this engine. The car has covered circa 54k.

I always wait till the oil temp is above 80, but thats just out of habit, for oil I use millers 10w50.
