Are rcm headers worth it on a vf35?
As the title. I'm collecting parts for my blob sti. It's on the standard vf35 turbo. I've got a walbro and induction kit on it. I'm Waiting for japspeed to get the turbo back decat in stock and adding a 3 port.
Is it worth adding rcm headers with a Venturi up pipe at the same time too? |
i made 353.9bhp on my blob wrx with a vf35 and 365 FTLBS,i run rcm headers with a venturi up-pipe (you must wrap them tho-i used magma wrap)
a similar car with same spec as mine apart from the headers made 333.6 bhp both mapped by duncan on rcm rollers-duncan said the headers definalty helped my car make so much http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...psmuhd3xqs.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...ps227f6292.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...psd60dcec1.jpg http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...ps408824cb.jpg |
i have japspeed ones on mine with avf34 and made 384.5 so i would say no

Really I wouldn't spend money on RCM headers, yours stock OE STI headers should be OK at this power level and beyond,if I would spend money then maybe on the get them port and Harvey Up pipe
Thanks.Jura |
A lot of money for 20bhp :)
