MSOC Photoshoot

Thought we should have a place to discuss the recently brought up photoshoot idea. Be good to get people's opinion on different locations, day/night and a date that suits everyone.

JonMc 27 February 2014 11:39 AM

I'll be up for it as long as I get a dry day to wash the car beforehand:D

Depending when it is I might even be able to get the new bonnet vent on:wonder:

Happy for evenings or weekends as long I get enough notice to move other stuff around, but probably best to wait until the weather picks up a touch unless you can find an indoor venue.

It would be a good idea to get in touch with Jim and see if he has any time spare for this? I know he is not on here much but his photography is amazing & is the best person for the job :) We could also ask Mantas friend Sergey as he is also a dab hand at it.

Can this include people from the 'good side of London' ?? :D

I'd be up for this, work dependant as usual

rickya 01 March 2014 06:19 AM

huzzy1 02 March 2014 07:14 AM

Didn't realise you moved? ;)

Count me in Tom

In terms of location i think Beaconsfield services would be a good place where we could all park and has plenty of lighting. Could also do some rolling shots nearby if we can bring a certain cameraman out of retirement ;)

I think some night shots would be good for a change as we don't often have the opportunity anymore.

I was thinking Saturday 26th April as the date but this also depends on having decent weather and somebody a bit more handy with a camera than me

Shiver 06 March 2014 07:45 PM

I'd be up for this if I'm allowed to bring one of the small cars!

Beaconsfield sounds good for a large number of cars Tom.

Mikee 06 March 2014 07:51 PM

I'll speak to Jim tomorrow about this guys, don't hold your breath though because he's a busy boy with his little boy, home building work, and work! ;)

53 06 March 2014 09:14 PM

Is this an M-SOC event ? :D

Budgie 07 March 2014 10:54 AM

As all MSOC events Stu, anyone is welcome
Great idea Tom, its been a while since we did one
I am happy with the date so let me know if you want it put on the events calendar:D

53 07 March 2014 11:23 AM

As long as I don't have to drive to the Midlands ;)

JonMc 07 March 2014 12:14 PM

Date looks good for me too Tom so lets see if we can make this happen:thumb:

M444GY 07 March 2014 04:02 PM

stevie turbo 07 March 2014 05:55 PM

ill be up for it,and to add ill bring my eldest daughter is looking to do photography when she leaves school,
she is good with a camara well better than me and it will be good pratice for her, also can add it too her course work plus the bonus of having a few more pics of the cars.......

T800 GEN 07 March 2014 09:01 PM

That'll be good Stevie. We need someone who's good with a camera. Hoping for some high quality pictures and a decent turnout for what I've got planned.

Mikee 09 March 2014 10:21 PM

Isn't Mantas mate pretty handy behind the lens?...

hi

I`d be up for this as I am very close to Beaconsfield and would love to have a look around some other cars etc.

You guys decided a date and is anyone welcome?

CJSc00by 02 April 2014 10:36 PM

I'd be up for it!

T800 GEN 04 April 2014 08:03 AM

The date will be Saturday 26th. Unfortunately Serge is away for 2 months:(
So if anybody's good with a camera and doesn't mind coming along to take some pics then let me know.

JonMc 04 April 2014 06:05 PM

If I can tie Rich down to a day to do my wheel alignment I'll bring my camera along:thumb:
