Subaru Nev 22 February 2014 04:16 PM

Silly question but does it fit a 2006 Hawkeye STi? Not sure if their all the same.

If it does, can you confirm the age/condition?

birchy2010 22 February 2014 07:11 PM

Any pics?

Subaru Nev 22 March 2014 10:43 PM

Wouldn't normally do this but I paid for this and (a fuel pump) 4 weeks ago and have not received any of it, or indeed no replies to my texts or calls.

I want my goods or my money back please!!!

imprezaworks 23 March 2014 12:20 AM

Hope you sort it mate. These types of issues seem to be cropping up way too much. How did you pay?

Subaru Nev 23 March 2014 08:16 AM

Thanks - luckily by paypal as goods (not gift) so apparently I have some protection.

Like I said I'm not normally one to get on the forums and moan about someone else, however the very few texts I've had are all reasons why they haven't been sent and nothing at all for a while.

I've tried to be reasonable but still no response so thought sod it I would post on here!

funny enough still waiting on some injectors too, guy promised they'd be with me by Friday as he'd forgot to post them and then been ill but no injectors yet.

it's a shame as people will eventually stop buying on here as they won't be able to trust anyone and it's the geniune ones who then miss out.

imprezaworks 23 March 2014 12:39 PM

A real shame. If its been a couple of weeks mate put a claim in, good luck.

Gear Head 23 March 2014 04:15 PM

Well done for letting us know. I seriously detest people like that.

Fingers crossed you get somewhere with PayPal as he will have to provide proof of postage.

stevie turbo 23 March 2014 04:25 PM

sorry to here this chap high light it with the mods there should be a hit list on here

Subaru Nev 23 March 2014 04:47 PM

I don't mind it so much if they keep in touch, but when they don't even have the courtesy to reply or keep promises then I lose all time for them.

I agree there should be some sort of list maintained by the mods so that people can be added as required. Could be a one stop check list for the geniune buyers and sellers.

Comboflip 23 March 2014 06:50 PM

Sorry to hear this happen pal its just not on and hope you get your goods or refund. .I was planning to buy this but didn't as I couldn't collect it.no way was I going to send him cash for delivery as the seller had low post count and a new member with no trader score,

Subaru Nev 23 March 2014 09:09 PM

I spoke to him on the phone and seemed genuine enough. Its the lack of replies that has annoyed me, especially as I sent my money quickly so that he knew what was happening.

I've put a claim in on paypal but will cancel it in the unlikely event they turn up

stevie turbo 24 March 2014 10:56 AM

last active 5th march on account,if you ask me if your selling you should be active daileyor min weekly for reply to potentail buyers etc, either a scammer or on holiday but he need to reer his head on here to explain...people like this f''#k me off..

tubbytommy 24 March 2014 11:15 AM

Really helpful.

Well done tubbytommy, must be good to feel you really know how to add to worth to the threads on here.

Was worried for a while that I might have been the only idiot on here. :thumb:

lol:lol:

Ooooh boohooo
My point was how is it the mods fault you handed over money to a new member with 30 posts and zero trader feedback for an item for sale with not even a picture of the item.
Hardly their fault if your stupid enough to do this. Its not their job to babysit idiots.

Truss 24 March 2014 08:46 PM

I don't think he was blaming mods Dan, just suggesting some sort of list of known scammers.

Yes but you need to help yourself sometimes. Look at the seller. Would you hand over 290 quid to him??
What's the point of a scammer list. If they are proven scammers they should be banned.

Subaru Nev 24 March 2014 08:58 PM

Thanks Truss, that was my point. I'm not blaming the mods at all, but wondered if there was some list that could be kept to refer to. Maybe something with aliases amd known email accounts of people they know of or have banned (in case they come back with a different log in).

Also I didn't hand it over just like that, I had pictures sent and spoke to him at length on the phone.

Unfortunately its the geniune people who suffer as other members will be reluctant to take the risk.
