there is no point in comparing with anyone as its depends on age,points,postcode,mods...............and so on.

one thing i cant understand is my insurance company want more money if the car was parked in a garage and if i had the tracker activated :cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

Is it because they would have to repair the garage if it was stolen out of it ?

they said it was because the thief had more 'undisturbed' time to get the car started :freak3:

when i kicked up a fuss about my tracker they put me on hold and then after 6-7 mins the phone went dead :freak3:

Mustoe91 19 February 2014 05:13 PM

It's turning into another one of those threads again

ST-X 19 February 2014 05:24 PM

Post code seems to have a huge influence, I'm 28 with an '03 WRX and paying just under £280 a year for mine. 11yrs protected NCB, 15kpa, parked on the street. Can't complain at that really but then with few exceptions Scotland does seem pretty cheap and low risk as far as insurers are concerned, it's not Smethwick or anywhere like that!

lordharding 19 February 2014 05:28 PM

Could be a five pager this thread

Op says insurance is stupid as its gone down

Mixture Of bad grammar and spelling mistakes and a newby

:D

I pay £210 and Gary has out it up a quid in the last 4years

It's so sily i thk so so I wil get a dump value fited and neons

I'm laughing all the way to my bank :D

daz1968 19 February 2014 05:59 PM

The postcode makes a big difference but what I don't understand is if I have been driving for 30 years in same postal area then I surely must be a low risk but still get loaded because of someone else, the driver now is a small part of the premium which there is nothing we can do other than move house or put up with it.

I pay £400 Fully comp all mods declared, I'm under 30 and have 9+ NCB, no points.

Try A Plan or Sky

Punctuation shouldn't begin with a capital if it's there in the sentence.

They have regional numbers depending on where you live, you can get your local one on https://www.aplan.co.uk/

A2k00 19 February 2014 07:46 PM

I got a quote on a lamborghini gallardo for the same as my old Civic Type R, All I needed was 120k to buy one lol

djsparra 19 February 2014 07:53 PM

Your annual milage makes a difference as well. I'm only paying £380 fully comp with the missus as a named driver, A Plan is the best IMO.

Markfey 19 February 2014 07:57 PM

Hang on. Was it just me that noticed shreksta is 33 and his misses is 26 :)
