Rust bubble!!!
 

Hi all, as it was a lovely day on Sunday, I decided to give my blob eye a polish. While going round it, I noticed a small bubble on the bottom of the rest arch. Is this a common problem with Scooby's or am I just unlucky. It's 2005 car. What can I do to prevent this from getting any worse? Is there anywhere else on three car to look out for rot our rust?

Think its luck of the draw to be honest, depends how its been stored over the years etc, i have 2 classic both nearly same age, the one with more miles has less rust

U frame under the front rusts out, newages don't typically suffer with rear arch rust like the classics do

I only got the car just before Xmas but looking at the mot, it looks like it had only done about 10000 miles in the last 6 years so it had probably sat there for a little while. It was definitely kept outdoors.
What's the best way to deal with the rust to stop it from spreading any further?

Go to a bodyshop and get it treated and repaired before it get worse. Thers nothing you can do really, unless u sand it down on the outside and in the treat it then seal it then paint it.
