prosport stepper gauges buzzer

Hi anyone know if you can turn those buzzers off doing my head in lol

scoobywho2 13 February 2014 02:59 PM

Try this fella....

(engine off) Hold down silver button on front

- turn engine on
- allow guage to cycle fully and start "reading"
- turn off engine
- release silver button only when it goes dark (turns off)

Buzzer should now be off.

Thanks for that they were about to be launched...
Now just need to figure why the boost gauge aint working?

alcazar 14 February 2014 11:02 AM

You HAVE got them wired correctly?

Those type of gauges need a permanent live and one that is ONLY permanent when the engine is running.
Lots of people make the mistake of getting the first right, then picking up another live which is live on FIRST ignition switch position, ie: for the radio etc.

That can leave the alarms going off inappropriately.

What's up with the boost gauge?

The gauges are not buzzing now.
The boost gauge was working when out on a test drive but isnt lighting up or working so would think its a power problem will see if it worjs with power going in directly.

Prosport do suffer from dodgy plugs on the rear, make sure it clicks in properly, it may need a small screwdriver to push it in.
