Rays Gram Lights 57C6

Morning gents,

A mate and I have just imported a set of wheels each and he has some clearance issues with his on his Evo 9 so may be looking to sell them.
The wheels in question are:
Rays Gram Lights 57C6
5x114.3
18x9.5
et 38
Matte Graphite
A perfect fit for any '05 on STi

A couple of gallery photos

And a couple to prove my story

If he decides selling them is his best option he will only want what it cost to import them which is £1600
This is a very good price for some very strong and light wheels, and they're probably the only set in the UK

Feel free to PM me with any questions

Kev

Can't see why he would have clearance probs

I ran 9.5x18 et17 Enkei Nt03+

Exactly the same offset and sizes etc as my wheels which come from a Evo 8, mine are close to my coilovers, but not as close as that!!!

Shame as there nice wheels!!:thumb:

kevfawcett 08 February 2014 03:14 AM

Well, he had a tyre fitted and this is the outcome

Do we think this is a bit too close? He's ordered some small hubcentric spacers anyway, so I think he might be keeping the wheels now

andyscoobym3 08 February 2014 09:11 AM

Had the same issue with mine, I just got some shorter free length springs, simples

kevfawcett 08 February 2014 09:50 AM

Shorter springs for the coilovers then wound the adjusters up to suit?

How close were your tyres in comparison?

LUCKO 08 February 2014 01:48 PM

my Advans dont do this and they are same offset in think

brens.scoob 08 February 2014 02:17 PM

are they a048`s?

if so he should have gone a size down as track tyres are slightly wider as they have square shoulders..ie a 235 track tyre is the same width as a 245 road tyre.

Anger 08 February 2014 02:34 PM

Blimey that is close, I ran 255/35/18 R888's on mine

Are you both talking about running this offset on a evo 9?

They're R888's, I believe they are the same size as his road tyres but don't know what size that is.

Is the general consensus that they're too close or that they'll be OK?

na mines a 114pcd hawkeye sti

kevfawcett 08 February 2014 04:44 PM

Well that's why, the wheels were made for your car. He went for this offset as he didn't want the aggressive fitment that the Evo ones would have given him

Mine were touching the spring, just changed springs and sorted

BBB3 11 October 2014 09:38 PM

These sold? Assume so :lol1:

kevfawcett 12 October 2014 06:42 PM

No, he kept them and uses them as his track wheels. He just bought some small spacers to move them away from the suspension

BBB3 12 October 2014 06:52 PM

If you come across a set at a good price :)

kevfawcett 13 October 2014 08:35 AM

Haha, I doubt these come up too often. I've never seen another set in the UK

BBB3 13 October 2014 02:09 PM

I have there is a set on a evo locally.

kevfawcett 13 October 2014 06:41 PM

In the same fitment? Evo's normally use ET20 I believe.

You don't happen to have a picture do you? I was trying to get my mate to go for a more aggressive fitment and I'd like to show him what he could have had!

BBB3 13 October 2014 06:50 PM

Think his are ET27 I think...

Evos use ET20 to ET 30 :)

kevfawcett 13 October 2014 07:11 PM

Must have a nice bit of concave with that offset!

BBB3 13 October 2014 07:31 PM

Yeah they do look wide, I've seen it 4-5 times I parked beside it in tesco

kevfawcett 13 October 2014 07:33 PM

Nice. I'm a bit jealous of the width wheels, standard Evo arches can accept

BBB3 13 October 2014 07:43 PM

I used to have 18x9 ET30 on my 8MR

These are now up for sale as he has sold the evo. I'll get some up to date pics and a price ASAP

My Photobucket account expired or something. Gav is offshore at the minute so can't get any pics of them off the car just yet but, I'll try to get the most recent ones I can off him
