Indicator Problem

A few days ago my passenger side front indicator stopped working, the rear & side blinks really fast which lead me to think that the bulb had gone.

I replaced the bulb with a new one and the same problem exists, I've checked all the wiring and all the fuses and still no joy.

Today I took the drivers side out and popped in the passenger side and still the same problem :wonder:

Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Cheers,

Edward

If it hasn't blown the fuse, you haven't a short.
Try checking the wiring further back.

Thanks mate, I'll give that a go.

mr physics man since when is it possible it might be a fuse, there is not a car on the market which as a separate fuse per light, why do you constantly guess at these electrical questions when you have obviously to experience in the job.

Where did I say it was a fuse, mastermind?

Instead of TRYING to be clever at someone else's expense, why not try ACTUALLY helping the OP. Oh, and try reading what was written before jumping in, there's a good lad.

The indicators are fused, yes?
If the fuse hasn't blown, which the OP didn't say, then the indicator circuit is unlikely to have a short circuit, yes?

Therefore the problem must be somewhere in the wiring...dirty, corroded, or broken, or even unplugged, connectors are a possibility.

As is a misplaced/broken/corroded earth, and even a corroded bulb holder.

But hey...what do I know, I'm no electrician......except that the supposed electrician has given NO help other than criticise me. LOL.
